Eliud Kipchoge, a Kenyan long-distance runner, grew up in the small town of Kapsisiywa, where he began running as a means of transportation to school. Little did he know that this humble start would lead him to become one of the greatest marathon runners of all time. Kipchoge’s breakthrough came in 2014 when he won the Chicago Marathon, showcasing his incredible endurance and determination. He has since achieved unprecedented success, including setting the world record for the marathon in2018.
